568-148 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

Part number U90148 is an AS568-148 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and abrasion and wear. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or acids and bases.

Typical settings include hydraulic cylinders, off-highway equipment, and mining and heavy equipment.
