This o-ring is supplied in AS568-149 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm), catalogued under part number TES70149. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The compound resists steam, wide temperature swings, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
