The H50150 is an AS568-150 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.
