*568-150 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70150 is an AS568-150 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, steam, and wide temperature swings. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

It sees regular use in cryogenic and high-temperature equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage processing.
