568-151 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

SV70151 is an AS568-151 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.987 in (75.87 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.193 in (81.1 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
