The SV70153 is an AS568-153 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.487 in (88.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.693 in (93.8 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.
