568-154 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

Ordered as U90154, this is an AS568-154 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.737 in (94.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.943 in (100.15 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils, extrusion under high pressure, and ozone. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
