SV70156 is an AS568-156 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.237 in (107.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.443 in (112.85 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
