568-157 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70157 is an AS568-157 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong oxidizing acids.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
