568-157 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

Part number HSN90157 is an AS568-157 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
