568-157 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70157 is an AS568-157 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.487 in (113.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.693 in (119.2 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. This material stands up to ozone, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones.

Typical settings include construction machinery, mining and heavy equipment, and press and forming equipment.
