568-158 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-158 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 4.737 in (120.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.943 in (125.55 mm), catalogued under part number TES70158. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. This material stands up to wide temperature swings, steam, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
