Part number SV70158 is an AS568-158 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.737 in (120.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.943 in (125.55 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
