-159 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75159 is an AS568-159 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.987 in (126.67 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.193 in (131.9 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
