This o-ring is supplied in AS568-161 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A with an inside diameter of 5.487 in (139.37 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.693 in (144.6 mm), catalogued under part number H50161. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against water, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
