HSN90162 is an AS568-162 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong oxidizing acids are present.

Common environments for this compound include heavy-duty powertrain, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
