H50163 is an AS568-163 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.987 in (152.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.193 in (157.3 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or strong acids call for a different compound.
