-164 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

H50164 is an AS568-164 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong acids or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.
