568-164 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70164, this is an AS568-164 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone offers excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The material holds up against wide temperature swings, steam, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
