568-164 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

Ordered as HSN90164, this is an AS568-164 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, excellent abrasion and tear strength. It resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with ketones or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and engine timing systems.
