Part number VB90165 is an AS568-165 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
