568-165 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
