568-165 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-165 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm), catalogued under part number U90165. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists ozone, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for very high tensile strength and load capacity, exceptional abrasion resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to ketones or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
