The HSN90166 is an AS568-166 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
