568-166 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70166, an AS568-166 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against extrusion under high pressure, impact and shock loading, and ozone. Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in acids and bases or ketones.
