568-166 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

APG stocks the U90166, an AS568-166 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for very high tensile strength and load capacity, toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. It resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam are present.
