APG stocks the VB90167, an AS568-167 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.987 in (177.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.193 in (182.7 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.
