Expect good resistance to ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants.
