568-168 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

TES70168 is an AS568-168 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.237 in (183.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.443 in (189.05 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces. This item is further identified as ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for strong resistance to permeation and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone.
