Part number HS70168 is an AS568-168 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.237 in (183.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.443 in (189.05 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material holds up against ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.
