SH70169 is an AS568-169 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The compound resists petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs.
