568-169 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the HSN90169, an AS568-169 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. It resists modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
