SV70170 is an AS568-170 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or ketones and esters.
