568-170 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

Part number HS70170 is an AS568-170 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
