APG stocks the HSN90170, an AS568-170 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. This material stands up to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
