Part number VB90171 is an AS568-171 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.987 in (202.87 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.193 in (208.1 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
