V75172 is an AS568-172 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.237 in (209.22 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.443 in (214.45 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
