This o-ring is supplied in AS568-172 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 8.237 in (209.22 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.443 in (214.45 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90172. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile.
