Part number V75173 is an AS568-173 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.487 in (215.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.693 in (220.8 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aerospace, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
