APG stocks the SV70173, an AS568-173 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.487 in (215.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.693 in (220.8 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
