Ordered as HSN90173, this is an AS568-173 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.487 in (215.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.693 in (220.8 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).
