568-173 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

APG stocks the U90173, an AS568-173 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.487 in (215.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.693 in (220.8 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for very high tensile strength and load capacity, exceptional abrasion resistance. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, impact and shock loading, and abrasion and wear. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or acids and bases.
