Ordered as HS70174, this is an AS568-174 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.737 in (221.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.943 in (227.15 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters call for a different compound.
