568-174 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90174 is an AS568-174 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.737 in (221.92 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.943 in (227.15 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
