568-175 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

Ordered as TES70175, this is an AS568-175 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.987 in (228.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.193 in (233.5 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. It resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and wide temperature swings. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
