568-175 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70175, an AS568-175 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.987 in (228.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.193 in (233.5 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The compound resists abrasion and wear, extrusion under high pressure, and petroleum oils. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in mining and heavy equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and high-pressure fluid power.
