568-176 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70176, an AS568-176 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.237 in (234.62 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.443 in (239.85 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. It resists extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature.
