The H50177 is an AS568-177 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.487 in (240.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.693 in (246.2 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or strong acids are present.
