VB90178 is an AS568-178 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.737 in (247.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.943 in (252.55 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across semiconductor equipment, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
