568-178 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

HS70178 is an AS568-178 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.737 in (247.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.943 in (252.55 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.
